New Leader. New Vision.
It’s time for a new leader and a new vision in Smyrna. It’s time to generate positive, collaborative action in your government to make our city the truly great city that it can be. It’s time for us to raise the bar. —Wade Lnenicka
As a seven-term City Councilman in the City of Smyrna, I believe there is a need for positive, collaborative action in your government to make our city the truly great city it can be. That is why I want to be your next Mayor.
We need progressive improvements in our city’s schools, better communications with the business community, and more transparency in our government on behalf of our citizens. In addition, my vision includes a focus on public safety, veterans’ and senior citizens’ concerns, youth engagement, and support for the arts and the environment. I have long been a champion for fiscal responsibility within Smyrna’s government. I also see a critical need to restore a spirit of civility and cooperation within the City Council.
This is the first challenge for the mayoral office by an elected member of the city’s government since the incumbent mayor took office in 1985. I ask for your support and for your vote on November 3, 2015.
I have more than 30 years of business experience working for companies including Printpack and CPG-Pepsi Bottlers, and I hold the professional designation of Certified Purchasing Manager. Currently, I am the co-owner of BuyWell, which provides consulting services.
I served three years on active duty in the U.S. Army and qualified as an army ranger, and I served 19 years in the U.S. Army Reserves. Married for 30 years, I hold a B.S. Management Degree from Georgia Tech and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
I am fully committed to championing integrity, professionalism, ethics and civility in our local city government, and I will work hard to listen carefully and courteously to the citizens of Smyrna.
As I prepare for the upcoming election, I look forward to hearing the opinions, concerns and issues that will guide and inform my campaign. Until then, I respectfully ask for your vote on November 3, 2015.
